Nice to meet you
I am a NIP psychologist providing online psychological therapy for adults coping with the emotional impact of health conditions and medical treatment. My clinical work includes chronic illness, diabetes, fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, health anxiety, PTSD, weight and body image concerns, emotional eating and adjustment to medical weight-management treatments. Health problems can affect relationships, work, identity and the way a person experiences their body. My role is not to suggest that everything is psychological, but to help with the psychological burden that can accompany a real medical situation.

How I work
My approach is integrative and evidence-based. I do not apply one method to every person. Depending on your needs and goals, therapy may draw on cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic therapy, schema therapy, EMDR and psychophysiological approaches. Some people benefit from focused, time-limited work. Others need more time to understand recurring patterns or the effect of earlier experiences. We will discuss the options together and review whether the work is helping.
Areas of practice
My areas of practice include chronic illness and diabetes, fertility treatment and pregnancy loss, health anxiety, specific phobias and needle fear, PTSD, emotional eating, weight stigma and body image. Psychological care does not replace medical or nutritional treatment, and multidisciplinary support may be recommended.
Professional services
Giving lectures to medical teams on various topics such as: psychological coping with type 1 and 2 diabetes, psychological coping with obesity, motivation, diagnosis and initial intervention in the doctor's office, and more.
Professional lectures
In cases of specific anxieties or certain issues, it is possible to hold a short-term treatment, defined in time, in which we will try to work together in a goal-oriented manner. As part of my work in the various settings, I experimented with a variety of evidence-based methods such as EMDR, hypnosis, Sibiti's protocols, and more.
